Daisy Avalos is a Dallas-based Mexican american filmmaker and photographer specializing in visual storytelling. She studied TV and Film at the University of North Texas, where she also minored in Photography, shaping both her technical foundation and creative perspective.

From 2015 to 2021, she worked full-time in film production, gaining extensive experience that led her to launch her own film and photography business in 2022. Since then, she has collaborated with a range of organizations, artists, and institutions, creating thoughtful, high-quality visual content.

While her professional work is rooted in film, Daisy continues to expand her photography practice, exploring both digital and film mediums. Her work is driven by a desire to capture honest, visually compelling stories, with an emphasis on atmosphere, emotion, and a strong sense of place.
